cu Școala Doctorală de Geografie și Facultatea
de Geografie organizează a zecea
ediție a Conferinței
Naționale ”George Vâlsan” sâmbătă, 9 mai 2026, de data aceasta
având tema ”Noile frontiere ale geografiei: Integrarea tehnologiei pentru comunități sustenabile”. Evenimentul va
avea un format hibrid, și va avea loc atât fizic, la Facultatea de Geografie din Cluj-Napoca, cât și online, fiind dedicat
studenților de la
nivel licență și master, precum și doctoranzilor. Va exista și o
competiție de hărți. Secțiunea
dedicată
studenților de la licență și master va include patru subsecțiuni:
Geografie Umană și Turism; Geografie Fizică și Tehnică; Geografie Regională și Planificare Teritorială; respectiv Didactica Geografiei.
Înscrierile se pot face până la data de 4 mai 2026, completând formularul de înscriere online.
Este necesar și un scurt rezumat și câteva cuvinte-cheie. Nu se percepe
taxă de participare. Prezentările trebuie trimise până la aceeași dată la adresa students4cluj@gmail.com. Mai multe informații sunt disponibile pe pagina conferinței de pe Facebook și pe pagina Facultății de Geografie.
The Students' Board of the Faculty of Geography belonging to ”Babeș-Bolyai” University of
Cluj-Napoca, together with the Doctoral School of Geography and the Faculty of
Geography, organizes the tenth
edition of "George Vâlsan” National Conference on Saturday, 9 May
2026. This time the main subject of the conference is ”New Frontiers of Geography: the Integration of Technology for Sustainable Communities”. The
event will take place in hybrid form, both on site at the Faculty of
Geography in Cluj-Napoca and online, and is
addressed to bachelor and master level students, as well as to PhD
students. There will also be a map competition. The section addressed to
bachelor and master
degree students will include four subsections: Human Geography and
Tourism; Physical and Technical Geography; Regional Geography and
Spatial Planning; and Geography Teaching respectively.
Registration is possible until 4 May 2026, by filling in the online form.
A short abstract and a few key words are also necessary. There is no
registration fee. The presentations should be submitted before or on the same date to the e-mail address students4cluj@gmail.com. More information is available (in Romanian) on the Facebook conference webpage and on the Faculty of Geography webpage.
