Simpozionul Național de Geomorfologie, 21-24 mai 2015, Sfântu Gheorghe (Delta Dunării). National Symposium on Geomorphology, 21-24 May 2015, Sfântu Gheorghe (Danube Delta)

Asociația Geomorfologilor din România (AGR) și Grupul de Cercetări Costiere de la Facultatea de Geografie a Universității din București, împreună cu Stațiunea de Cercetări Marine și Fluviale și Primăria Sfântu Gheorghe organizează cel de-al XXXI-lea Simpozion Național de Geomorfologie. Acesta se va desfășura la Sfântu Gheorghe în perioada 21 - 24 mai 2015. Vineri, 22 mai 2015, și sâmbătă, 23 mai, vor avea loc lucrările propriu-zise ale simpozionului, găzduite de căminul cultural din localitate, după-amiezele fiind rezervate unor aplicații de teren în apropiere. Duminică, 24 mai 2015, se va organiza o aplicație de teren pe un traseu în Delta Dunării.
Participanții se pot înscrie la simpozion până la data de 1 martie 2015, completând formularul de înregistrare online, inclusiv un rezumat al lucrării. Până în data de 1 aprilie, aceștia vor primi o notificare cu privire la acceptarea lucrării. Taxa de participare standard este 220 RON, iar pentru masteranzi, doctoranzi și seniori (peste 65 ani), 150 RON, și trebuie plătită până pe 1 mai 2015. Pentru aplicația de teren din ultima zi, taxa de participare (opțională) este de 100 RON. Alte detalii sunt disponibile pe pagina web a simpozionului.
The Association of Geomorphologists in Romania (AGR) and the Group of Coastal Research of the Faculty of Geography within the University of Bucharest, together with the Marine and Fluvial Research Station and Sfântu Gheorghe Mayor's Office organize the 31st National Symposium on Geomorphology. The event will take place between 21 and 24 May 2015 at Sfântu Gheorghe. The sessions of the symposium will take place on Friday, 22 May 2015, and Saturday, 23 May, and will be hosted by the local community centre. During the afternoon, local trips will be organized. On Sunday, 24 May, a fieldtrip will be organized on a larger route in the Danube Delta.
Participants may register for the symposium until the 1st of March 2015 by filling and submitting the online form which includes an abstract of the paper (in Romanian). By April the 1st, 2015, they should receive a letter of acceptance of the proposed paper. The standard registration fee is 220 RON, while the registration fee for Master and PhD students, as well as for seniors (aged 65 and over), is 150 RON, and should be paid before or on the 1st of May 2015. The fieldtrip on the last day of the symposium is optional and costs an additional 100 RON. Other details are available on the symposium webpage.
